LEL April Webinar: The Role and Resource of an LEL
April 21 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
The current landscape that law enforcement faces appears more challenging than at any other time in history. Calls for greater accountability, defunding and reimagining are being voiced, along with charges of systemic racism, excessive force and over-policing are forcing tough conversations and introspective examinations.
Resources are spread thin, retention and recruitment solutions are being sought and all the while, the core functions of law enforcement must be addressed and assessed, including how traffic safety is managed within law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve.
A panel of esteemed law enforcement liaisons with decades of law enforcement experience will sit down and discuss these challenges and what you as an LEL can do to meet and overcome them in your role and possibly find solutions and inspiration in being the best resource for your audience as possible.
Our moderated panel will feature a conversation about the work they do, the challenges they meet and how they solve them. This will be a leader’s perspective on our profession.
Panelists will include:
- Michael Morris, New Jersey LEL
- Art Amato, Missouri LEL
- Scott McConkey, Minnesota LEL
- Scott Kristiansen, Illinois LEL
- Bill Ehart, California LEL
